Visitors stroll along the Inui-dori street at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo to observe the changing autumn leaves on Saturday as the road was opened to the public. The autumn colors of some 70 momiji Japanese maple trees that line the street blend well with the hues of the surrounding moats and stone walls. About 250 visitors lined up at the entrance ahead of the 9 a.m. opening. The street will be open to the public through Dec. 9 for this event, which began in 2014 to commemorate the Emperor's 80th birthday and has taken place during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.
