In It Together Festival 2023 confirms the three headline acts for its main stage

One of Wales' largest festivals has confirmed the three headline acts and more top names for its main stage. In It Together Festival debuted in Margam in May, 2022 and returns there next year - with The Kooks, Anne-Marie and James set to perform huge sets on the Parc Stage.

They join S Club, James Bay, Jake Bugg, Mel C, and Chase & Status, all announced last month, as well as newly-announced The Vamps, The Reytons, Bjorn Again, Toploader, Natalie Imbruglia and UB40, and a host of other well-known DJs and musicians, local singers, comedy shows, games, fairground rides and plenty of family-friendly attractions too.

Next year's event is set to take place from Friday, May 26, 2023 to Sunday, May 28, 2023, with an optional "campers party" on Thursday, May 25 too. Festival-goers can choose between day tickets for one specific day or each day of the festival, or they can camp on the festival grounds all weekend - and up to midday on Monday, May 29 2023. Early bird, first release, second release and third release tickets have all sold out - but fourth release tickets (from £159) and fifth release tickets (from £169) are set to be released soon.

Confirming the headlining acts for the 2023 festival, organisers took to social media and said: "HEADLINERS JUST ANNOUNCED. Your 2023 line up just got better with Parc Stage Headliners THE KOOKS, ANNE-MARIE and JAMES taking centre stage across the weekend alongside GROOVE ARMADA (DJ SET) on Panchaia, HEDEX, FRICTION, KETTAMA on Steelworks and DREAM STATE on The Paddock. PLUS more names still to be announced."

A later surprise announcement added: "SURPRISE NEW WAVE OF ACTS JUST ANNOUNCED. We always like to keep you on your toes and with that comes another wave of artist announcement. UB40, THE VAMPS, THE REYTONS, BJORN AGAIN plus loads more join us at In It Together 2023! Not only that, but NATALIE IMBRUGLIA is confirmed as the Thursday Campers Party headliner!"

Speaking about the line-up, head of festivals and live-music at Escape Records (which runs In it Together Festival), Mark Hopkins added: "From our hugely entertaining family area Tic Tac Toe to the headline acts on the Parc stage and the calibre of DJs we have booked for Panchaia, In It Together really does have something for everyone. We are also delighted to support and showcase so much incredible Welsh talent to our festival goers and we can’t wait to return to Old Park Farm for 2023."

The new signings come a month after organisers confirmed several high-profile performers would be taking to the various stages at the 2023 event. As well as the musicians we mentioned earlier, there's also Kelis, Tom Zanetti, Diversity, Vengaboys, Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago and the Craig Charles Soul & Funk Club, to name a few more.

A spokesperson said previously: "The Parc stage will take centre stage with a performance from the incredible Grammy-nominated Kelis. From Milkshake to Trick Me, the American singer songwriter’s set will be one of the highlights of the weekend. Platinum selling British DJ Tom Zanetti will attract the crowds with his hugely popular hits including Darlin and You Want Me. Scottish rock band Twin Atlantic also join the main stage line-up and will delight crowds with hit after hit ahead of the headliner acts.

"Brit award winning singer songwriters James Bay and Jake Bugg join the stellar line up alongside hip-hop group and Welsh icons Goldie Lookin Chain, British Tik Tok sensation Tyrone and hugely popular street dance troupe Diversity.

"The family friendly festival is returning to Old Park Farm, Margam in May 2023 with an impressive set of star-studded acts and experiences to make it the ultimate weekend of jam-packed fun to remember. Expect a weekend party like no other filled with incredible music acts, a huge amount of family fun and memories to last a lifetime," they added.

"The family camping weekender which will welcome up to 40,000 people to Port Talbot, is the biggest festival of its kind in Wales. As well as welcoming international superstars to Wales, the festival will also support over 50 Welsh artists as it showcases the country’s finest exports."
