In-form West Ham youngster Nathan Holland included in matchday 18 against Wolves

West Ham youngster Nathan Holland has made it to the Premier League squad bench for the first time this season after enjoying an excellent 2019/20 campaign so far.

The winger has been included in the matchday 18 for the first time for the senior team since the 4-0 defeat to Oxford United in the Carabao Cup to Oxford United more than two months ago.

Holland has been in fine form for the Hammers U23s as they have had a stunning season so far sitting atop of the standings in PL2 division two.

Dmitri Halajko's side have yet to lose in the league this season and have dropped points in just one game, winning ten of their 11 matches so far since the new manager replaced Liam Manning in the summer.

Holland has been vital to that success, scoring nine league goals so far and his record is only bettered by teammate Anthony Scully, who has bagged 11 PL2 goals.

Manuel Pellegrini has decided not to include Michail Antonio in the squad to face Wolves in the Premier League on Wednesday night at Molineux as the forward is not risked. The manager hinted that two games in four days following four months out injured with a torn hamstring might be too much to ask of Antonio.

He is the only change to the side that beat Chelsea 1-0 at the weekend, with club-record signing Sebastien Haller recalled to the starting eleven after he was axed on Saturday. With Antonio missing out, Holland has been promoted to the senior squad.

Issa Diop has returned from a one match suspension but isn't in the 18 as Fabian Balbuena and Angelo Ogbonna keep their places.

West Ham: Martin; Fredericks, Ogbonna, Balbuena, Cresswell; Rice, Noble, Fornals, Snodgrass, Anderson; Haller.
