In for a Penny fans all make same demand as show returns

In for a Penny viewers were all quick to make the same demand today as the popular show returned to ITV.

Host Stephen Mulhern took the show to Sheffield for tonight's episode and saw the general public take part in a series of games.

There was hilarity at the airport as people took things in and out of their case in order to make it weigh the correct amount so they could win some cash.

People took ham and cheese out of their cases, while another couple was left red-faced when Stephen discovered some restraints in their luggage.

There were several more hilarious games throughout the show, with people having the chance to win £1,000.

And viewers were thrilled to see the show back, but many of them made the same complaint.

Lots of people took to social media to beg for the show to be longer than the current half hour, with many of them asking for it to be an hour long instead.

Ella Chacha said: "Please make this an hour long, you always leave us wanting more!"

Emma Johnston said: "Petition for 1 hour long episodes of in for a penny, half an hour just isn’t long enough."

kelliemilward said: "So glad this is back...wish this was on for an hour, sat laughing and a smiling on my face...love it"

Sharon said: "Love #inforapenny 30 minutes isn't long enough."

And Donna McAdam said: "So glad #inforapenny is back on tonight @StephenMulhern why can't it be on for 1 hour? Hate that it's only on for 30mins."

*In for a Penny continues on ITV next Saturday at 7pm
