For more than four months now, in northern Ethiopia, a conflict has been unfolding almost behind closed doors. The Ethiopian authorities have only just admitted the presence of Eritrean troops, who have fought alongside them in the Tigray region. Those troops are now accused of having committed a series of atrocities: mass murder, rape and summary executions. Our correspondent Maria Gerth-Niculescu was given access to the region, where she was able to meet some of the survivors.
