SIX Scottish streets have been named among the 50 best in the UK to live in a new list looking at the UK's top 50 residential roads.
The Glasgow location has been described as "in demand" with it only being a few short miles from the city centre, while Edinburgh has two on the list.
The research looked at the deprivation index which takes into consideration things like crime levels, employment opportunities, quality of public services and the proximity of schools and public transport.
The analysis was carried out by The Telegraph and prestigious real estate firm Knight Frank.

Buying agent Jonathan Bramwell revealed people will rent for two to three years waiting for the right house on the right street which will often sell in secret.
He said: “These homes don’t go anywhere near Rightmove. Our clients specify the house, I approach the owners discretely and they ask for a laughable price."
And, in most cases, the buyers pay it.
