In a different world, Redskins would start offseason workouts Monday

In an unprecedented offseason in the NFL due to the coronavirus pandemic, teams and the league at large are being forced to adapt to the changing world. Today marks the day where many teams, including the Washington Redskins, would have began their offseason workouts, allowing the players to get acclimated to a new coaching staff and new system.

Instead, because of social-distancing regulations, those teams are being restricted to virtual offseason work.

Instead of going to the team facilities in order to get some work in and start their process for the offseason, players are restricted to voluntary work, with which they can do from an iPad or tablet. The NFL and NFLPA are still finalizing some details with their new virtual offseason, as the league continues to adjust to this changing landscape.
