iMultiply appoints new MD as part of company expansion

iMultiply have appointed Kris Flanagan as their new managing director.

The move will allow founder Kirsty Mackenzie to explore new growth opportunities and revenues streams for the finance and executive search specialist that she started back in 2012.

Flanagan joined the company back in 2018 and has almost two decades of experience in the staffing industry, including 15 years accountancy & finance.

Mackenzie, who will remain in the role of CEO, said: "We should all feel like we have a responsibility to improve the industries we work in.  I have strived to do that with iMultiply and always aim to lead a race to the top not the bottom.

"We understood the mixed perception of recruiters and focused on listening and learning from customer experience, from applicants to employers; we placed excellent customer service at the heart of our business and showed it is profitable to do so; and we value our staff, allowing them room to breathe and grow beyond their job role.

"At every level of our business, I look to see people, not targets or meaningless numbers.  When you make things better for people, everyone profits – as iMulitply’s continual growth and success shows.

"I believe that more businesses doing more of what works for everyone in the chain, benefits us all; from our own customers to everyone else’s customers.  That’s why I am stepping beyond the boundaries of iMultiply and towards a bigger picture.

"Expanding into new markets, while sharing my experience and inspiring others to try a different approach  – that’s leadership and leadership can drive transformational change.”

The management restructure comes on the back of iMultiply announcing record year-end profits. Operating profit increased 59% whilst turnover rising 37% to £3 million.
