"For the first time In several months, the ISPR has broken its silence. It has called my reporting fake. I am glad that the ISPR has responded. Fake or whatever, because that means Imran is alive. We have forced them to respond after months of deafening, chilling, frustrating silence," Pakistani journalist Wajahat Khan clarified in a video.
The controversy began after journalist Khan claimed that three senior officers at Pakistan’s General Headquarters (GHQ) had expressed fears that Imran Khan may no longer be alive. However, he had stressed that the information was not independently verified and described it as apprehension rather than confirmed news.
