Impressive stats show how good Dani Ceballos was for Spain vs Romania

Dani Ceballos has had an impressive start to his season with Arsenal.

The Spaniard was a summer arrival, signing on loan from Real Madrid. He has played a part in every Premier League game so far this season, particularly impressing in his full debut for the Gunners, providing assists for both goals in a 2-1 win over Burnley.

Ceballos was a second half substitute in the last outing against Spurs, where Arsenal came from 2-0 down to take a deserved point from the game.

The midfielder is currently on international duty with Spain, as they play the latest of their European qualifiers. The 23-year-old was selected to start in the left wing position for his country in their game against Romania, and the Arsenal man repaid the faith of his international manager.

Ceballos played 76 minutes of the game, in that time he won a penalty, created five chances and played a defence splitting pass in the build up to one of the country's two goals.

The midfielder also had a pass percentage of 95.6, aswell as being successful in all seven attempts at long balls, completing three out of three attempted dribbles and winning three free-kicks.

The performance caught the eye of many Arsenal fans , who have already taken the new arrival to their hearts.

After the game, the Spanish international took to social media to give his thoughts on the game.

"Good match of the team yesterday against Romania," he wrote.

"We knew it wouldn't be easy to get the first victory of the national team on Romanian grounds, but we did our best and achieved our goal. Our mind is now on the next match. Let's go Spain!"

Ceballos and Spain will be back in action when they face Faroe Islands in another European qualifier on Sunday evening.
