Impressive stat sees Jack Harrison match entire first season at Leeds United

Jack Harrison scored for the second game in succession on Saturday afternoon to help Leeds United record a 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road.

Harrison doubled United's advantage on 35 minutes when he connected with Patrick Bamford's smart pass to fire a shot off the post and into the back of the net.

As well as taking his tally of goals for the season to three, it also continued his recent run of good form.

So far this season, Harrison, who is currently on loan from Manchester City for the second season in succession, has been directly involved in seven league goals - scoring three and assisting four. To have reached that tally after just 16 games makes impressive viewing, especially when you take into account that he was only directly involved in seven goals in the whole of last season (39 games).

And to make that statistic all the more impressive, six of those have come in his last seven games, meaning he is bang in form right now.

Further data shows that Harrison had a superb showing against Blackburn, with the 22-year-old winger having a 75% pass accuracy, 59 touches, 13 of which were in Rovers' penalty area, four shots and one goal from one shot on target amongst other stats.
