Impressive Skyy Moore catch highlights big day for Chiefs receivers at training camp

While Justyn Ross and Richie James made great first impressions at the Kansas City Chiefs’ first public training camp practice, second-year receiver Skyy Moore stole the show with an impressive catch deep downfield on a pass from Patrick Mahomes.

Moore is expected to take a big step forward in 2023 and will need to continue capitalizing on every opportunity he is given in practice to maintain his spot on the Chiefs’ depth chart. The second-year pass catcher will face stiff competition from the aforementioned Ross and James, as well as Rashee Rice and Justin Watson, all of whom will have a chance to become breakout stars in Kansas City’s offense next season.

As training camp wears on there are sure to be more highlight reel clips from Moore and his teammates, but this catch will stand alone as the first of many as the team gets back to the practice field ahead of their first preseason matchup in August.
