'Impossible to replace' - Nottingham Forest fans react to Joe Lolley and Aston Villa transfer link

Nottingham Forest fans have had their say on speculation surrounding Joe Lolley's City Ground future.

On Tuesday evening it was reported that Aston Villa were 'preparing' a bid for the winger, Forest's player of the year.

Villa having won Monday's Championship play-off final, beating Derby County 2-1 at Wembley.

Lolley was an integral part of Forest's side last season, netting 12 goals setting up 11 as Martin O'Neill's side finished in ninth place in the Championship.

Boyhood Villa fan Lolley joined the Reds in January last year from Huddersfield Town and recently signed a new five-year deal.

Now Reds fans have had their say on the rumours .

Here's the pick of the reaction from the City Ground faithful on social media...

James : Forest shouldn't sell Joe Lolley for any less than 15 million, that's the going rate for talented, young attacking players.

Greg : Impossible to replace, literally carried our creative and attacking output for large parts of last season. Lose Lolley & we're left with a squad that is lower mid-table at best. How do you put a price on that?

Ian Ross Davies : Any other Championship club, in today’s market, would demand at least £20m.

Reiss : Think it would be a minimum of £15m, I'd hope we’d stand firm and say not for sale if it occurs.

Alex : Honestly, I reckon if we get an offer of £15m he’s gone.

Cameron Clark: In this League, he's worth the amount it would take to replace him. Can't see anything less than £15m.

Cal : £15m minimum. £18m would be fair.

Sam Byram and Joe Lolley applaud the travelling Forest fans (Dan Westwell)

James Taylor : Couldn’t replace him for less than £15m.

Paul Evans : I think it depends how much he wants to go. If he's keen on Villa it will be about £10m. If not £15-18m.
