The revised Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal will be signed in Chile this week.

The United States pulled out of the original deal and some see that as a problem. The 12-nation trade deal was a linchpin of former President Barack Obama's Asia policy.

For farmers in Australia, the absence of the US provides an opportunity.
