The car to be used by the Emperor and Empress on the day of the enthronement proclamation ceremony is unveiled to the media in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, on Monday. The convertible version of Toyota Motor Corp.'s Century model will be used during the Shukuga-Onretsu-no-gi parade that will take place on Oct. 22. The backseat of the car is four centimeters higher than the driver's seat to make it easier for onlookers to see the Imperial couple.
