Reported Nottingham Forest target Mbaye Diagne seemingly has his heart set on staying in Turkey with Galatasaray.
The Reds have been linked with a 7m euros move for the striker, with Championship rivals Leeds United and Premier League Watford also said to be interested.
Diagne recently returned to his parent club after a tough loan spell at Belgian outfit Club Brugge, where he made just 11 appearances in total and had not featured since November.
Previous reports suggested Galatasaray hadn’t ruled out keeping him, despite the speculation about his future.
And now the forward looks to have made it clear where he wants to be next season.
He has posted a picture on Instagram of himself in action for Galatasaray with a caption which, according to African website Futaa, translates as: “I can’t wait any longer to play. And this will be in Turkey.”
Le Quotidien, meanwhile, say Diagne “is delighted” with the club’s decision to keep him after his “future was uncertain a few days ago”, and that he is “impatient” to get back to playing in Turkey.
They add, Galatasaray “at one time wanted to sell” but have now opted to hang on to the Senegal international.
The 28-year-old, who is under contract until 2023, is no stranger to posting about his future on social media, however.
He attracted attention last month with a cryptic Instagram post which seemed to hint at a move to the City Ground.
Alongside a picture of himself in Champions League action, a Forest badge was edited into the shot and he wrote: “Destiny is written and the truth remains. Thank you very much, my God. I accept everything you do for me.”
He later insisted: "I posted it but I didn't realise what was on it, and it certainly wasn't anything official. But once it was done, it was done. It wasn't intentional."
