Nottingham business leaders will have the chance to hear about a new project which aims to improve business’s industrial competitiveness through new product development and industry/academic collaboration.

The programme, named Impacting Business by Design, is a joint venture between Nottingham Trent University, De Montfort University and Brunel University London.

The initiative will be explained at a Nottingham City Business Club event this month.

Emily Hancock, project manager of the Impacting Business by Design programme, will be the guest speaker at the event on Friday, February 21, 2020.

A trained product designer, Emily has a passion for new product development and creative collaboration.

In her role at Impacting Business by Design, Emily manages a portfolio of over 90 business collaborations where she extols the value of design and the new product development capabilities being embedded into SME organisations across England.

The event takes place at the Park Plaza Hotel, Maid Marian Way, Nottingham.

Registration begins at 11:45am. Tickets cost £27.50 for members and £39.50 for non-members. Book a place at:
