Immigration Service investigating after man, woman and three children found at petrol station

Enquiries are ongoing after a man, woman and three children were reported to have been found at a petrol station.

Police have confirmed the reports of the group were seen at the Shell service station on Melton Road, Tollerton.

Officers were called around 9.45am on Friday, October 25.

The Immigration Service is now assisting the police with their enquiries.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Nottinghamshire Police was called at around 9.45am today (Friday 25 October 2019) following a report that a man, woman and three children had presented at the Shell Service Station on Melton Road, Tollerton.

“They are currently being looked after by police, while officers continue their enquiries with the group and the Immigration Service.”
