Images show how huge new development could shake up Crosby

New images show how a huge new creative hub and regeneration space could shake up one of Merseyside's busiest roads.

Plans are in place for a huge new development in Crosby that would consist of creative workspaces, offices, restaurants and cafes.

The proposals are subject to permission from Sefton Council , but would be located on Liverpool Road in the coastal town - on an 11,000sq ft former car showroom site set to be called 'one one three'.

The development is dubbed a 'mixed-use regeneration project of offices, studios, creative workspaces and a cafe/restaurant' - and is is being led by Next Big Thing Developments (NBTD).

NBTD announced they had completed the acquisition of the site back in August.

It's hoped that subject to planning approval from the council, it will deliver open-plan studio offices around a central atrium, along with the workshop spaces and cafes/restaurants.

NBTD says the development will sit well close to the " regenerating Crosby town centre , [which] is becoming a popular destination for bars, restaurants, cafes and independent retails".

A spokesman for the development issued a statement this morning, saying: "We’re looking to attract small to medium size creative, digital, media and design businesses alongside other companies who would benefit from locating their business in a vibrant, modern business environment.

"Subject to planning, the first offices will be ready early 2021."
