Images show Croxteth Park in an awful state after summer of live events

These images highlight the current state of one of Liverpool's parks following a number of live events which have taken place throughout the summer.

During the last six weeks, Croxteth Park has hosted the BBC Summer Social, Lewis Capaldi's Radio 1 concert and 80's music event Let's Rock Liverpool.

The events have brought plenty of music fans together and some of the biggest artists and children's TV characters to the city.

The park appears to be covered in deep tyre marks which are now filled with water (Twitter/ @anthonybeyga31)

However, in photographs shared with the ECHO , the park is now covered in muddy tyre tracks deep with water.

On Twitter user @anthonybeyga31 replied to the article we published last week regarding the terrible state Sefton Park was left in after Fusion Presents and Fusion Festival the weekend before.

Watch the footage of Sefton Park looking a state below:

Along with photographs taken of the park, he said: "Croxteth Park is worse than this 6 weeks after events held there."

The main damage seems to be around where the car parking areas were.

The ECHO has contacted the BBC and organisers of Let's Rock Liverpool and has not received a response.
