
POLICE investigating a suspicious Central Coast car fire are hopeful images released on Tuesday can take their investigation forward.
Emergency services were called to Lawrence Avenue at Lake Haven about 10pm on June 6 after reports a Holden Commodore was well alight.
Neighbours and firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW put out the blaze, and police were subsequently told two people were seen running from the scene.
The pair were allegedly headed south on Lawrence Avenue.
Tuggerah Lakes detectives commenced an investigation, dubbing the fire suspicious.

Inquiries led police to discover the vehicle had been purchased the same day.
The images released by police on Tuesday show a man. Investigators say that the figure, a man of caucasian appearance in his mid 20s to 30s, may be able to assist with inquiries.
Police said the man had a solid build and was about 180 centimetres tall.
