Image released of man following assault of two people in Johnstone

Police have released an image of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries following two assaults in Johnstone this weekend.

The incidents occurred at around 1.30am on Sunday, December 2 on the High Street. A man sustained a head injury, which required hospital treatment, and a woman sustained minor injuries.

Officers believe the man in the image may have information that could help with the ongoing investigation.

Anyone with any information, or who recognises the man in the image, is asked to call CID officers at Paisley Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 0458 of 2 December 2018.

Alternatively, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
