Image released of man after two men hospitalised in St Enoch Square assault

Police have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist their investigation into a serious assault in Glasgow city centre.

Two men were hospitalised following the incident, which occurred in St Enoch Square on Wednesday, March 18.

Police Scotland have said they wish to speak to the man in the image. Officers have launched an appeal for anyone who may have information about the individual or who witnessed the city centre assault to contact them.

The man is described as white, between 20 and 30 years of age, with short dark hair, of a slim build, and wearing a khaki jacket and grey jogging bottoms.

If anyone has information or recognises the man in the image, they are asked to contact officers at Cathcart Police Station via 101, quoting reference number 2659 of 18 March 2020. Alternatively, to remain anonymous, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
