Image released in hunt for Johnstone shop robber

Detectives probing a Johnstone shop robbery have released a CCTV image of a man they want to talk to.

A man entered the Day to Day store in Thornhill and demanded cash before making of with a three figure sum.

The frightening incident happened at 7.04 on Monday, November 12 last year.

Police have now released a picture o a man they say can assist in their investigation and urged anyone who knows him to get in touch.

He is described as white, between 25 and 29 years old, of medium build, and wearing a grey hooded top and glasses.

Anyone who recognises the man in the images is asked to contact Paisley CID via 101 Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.
