Image of man police want to speak to released in connection with nightclub attack

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an attack at a Stockport nightclub.

Greater Manchester Police say the victim was left with a head injury after an 'altercation' on Saturday, August 28.

The incident happened in the early hours at Bamboo Club on London Road, Hazel Grove.

Enquiries are ongoing and GMP has today (November 2) made a fresh appeal to find a man they want to talk to in connection with the attack.

Witnesses, or anyone who knows the man in the image, are urged to come forward with information to GMP.

In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for GMP Stockport said: "Do you recognise this male?

"We want to speak to him following an altercation in the early hours of August 28 at Bamboo nightclub in Hazel Grove.

"It happened between around 2.15am and 2.30am and the victim suffered a head injury among some others.

"Do you know him or saw what happened?"

Anyone with information about the incident can report it to GMP online here or call 101, quoting reference number CRI/06JJ/0019243/21.

Information can also be passed on anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
