Image appeal after boy in Brentry pulled from bike and assaulted

A fourteen-year-old boy has been assaulted in Brentry. Avon and Somerset Police have issued a photo of a man they want to identify as part of their investigation into the assault, which saw the young boy pulled from his bike and assaulted.

The teenager suffered minor injuries as a result of the assault, police say. The incident occurred in Chakeshill Drive in Brentry at around 3pm on Wednesday July 6.

Police are seeking anyone who may recognise the man pictured, or anyone who may have witnessed the incident unfold. The man they wish to identify is described as being in his late 40s or early 50s and of a large build.

Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigation, or anyone who recognises the man pictured, has been asked to contact the police. You can call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222161698.

Police did not give any further details about the assault, but said the boy did not require hospital treatment.
