Londoners can see the light in a new display of illuminated art opening tonight.
The works — including glowing tulips and a light show run on pedal power, with viewers creating a display using one of five special bikes — can be seen in London Wall Place in the city and Principal Place in Shoreditch.
Donald van de Veen of the Amsterdam-based Light Art Collection said he hoped the “bespoke light festival” would bring “joy, warmth and wonder to Londoners this Christmas in a fun and accessible way”.
The exhibition, called IlluminoCity and in partnership with Brookfield Properties, runs to January 17.
