The illumination of about 700,000 blue and white LED lights brightened a Roppongi Hills street in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on Friday, adding a festive mood to the area.
The event, which was made public to the press a day earlier, takes place along the roughly 400-meter-long Keyakizaka street and was organized by Mori Building Co., Roppongi Hills' operating company.
Visitors will be able to admire the festive lights every day from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. through Dec. 25.
