An Illinois woman was found shot to death Sunday in a vehicle on I-65 in central Indiana.
Ceaira M. Reed, 29, was found dead of apparent gunshot wounds at 3:53 a.m. inside a Mercedes-Benz SUV against the guardrail of northbound I-65 near the 131 mile marker in Whitestown, Indiana, according to a statement from Whitestown police.
Whitestown is about 21 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
Reed, who lived in Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
