Illegal warehouse orgy sees up to 100 fined for breaking lockdown rules

Cops have fined up to 100 people for breaking coronavirus rules for taking part in an illegal warehouse orgy.

Officers descended on the industrial building in the Paris suburb of Collegien last night after reports of men and women taking part in the so-called 'libertine' party.

The Daily Mirror reports that three people, understood to be the orgy organisers, were arrested after the event.

France, like most European countries, is under strict Covid-19 regulations barring mass gatherings of people.

The country currently has a 6pm to 6am curfew to try and stop the spread of the virus.

An investigating source said: "The event was in breach of the curfew, and there were also problems with masks and social distancing.

"Those involved in the libertine party cooperated with the police, and there was no resistance to the police."

Cops raided at around 9pm as French President Emmanuel Macron considers a third lockdown for the country amid 20,000 new coronavirus cases a day.

In an emergency session, local magistrates said that as well as the fines the sound and light equipment and alcohol should also be confiscated.

Basic sex education about the spread of viruses was also recommended for the attendees.

French law allows for orgies between consenting adults but scientists say that having sex with an infected person is almost a certain way of contracting coronavirus.

A kiss with someone with Covid-19 is a massive risk.

With the partner-swapping nature of orgies the risks are multiplied.
