The Ikea store in Braehead has reopened after fire crews rushed to an early morning blaze.
Firefighters tackled the flames shortly after 4am after loading bay at the store caught on fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent four crews to the scene and the building has been evacuated.
Rob Cooper, Ikea Glasgow store manager told the Evening Times : "We are able to confirm that an isolated incident occurred in the Ikea Glasgow store in the early hours of Friday, March 29, whereby a fire started in our loading bay.
“The store was swiftly evacuated and the emergency services were called.
“The incident was dealt with and the store will be open for business as usual today”.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were alerted to reports of a fire within a business premises at 4.12am.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire engines to Ikea on Kings Inch Drive where crews are currently tackling the fire.
“A full evacuation of the building was carried out, and there were no casualties.
“The last appliance left the scene at 6.39am after ensuring the area was made safe.”
