An IKEA cushion that converts into a wearable quilt has sold out online as fans get equipped for camping trips and cosy nights outside.
Shoppers have been struggling to get their hands on the £25 FÄLTMAL pillow, which has been dubbed the 'quillow' since it launched last month.
It is now listed as 'sold out' online and in most of its UK stores, including Bristol, although there is availability at a few branches elsewhere.
The furniture chain tweeted at the end of April advising that the item had been "flying off our shelves", offering shoppers the opportunity to win it instead.
Its website describes its design as "genius", using clever zips and buttons to turn from a cushion into a coat-like quilt or sleeping bag complete with sleeves.
The dark green fabric falls to floor length when worn, with a button fastener at the back.
It has one review online, with the buyer enthusing: "Very cleverly designed, the arms ensure the blanket doesn’t fall off you.
"Super light weight, soft and extremely warm. I work night shifts so perfect for snuggling up with."
One shopper on Instagram declared it "perfect for evening outside dining", with another saying it was ideal for their upcoming camping holiday.
"I need this," commented several others.
The reaction online has been tinged with amusement, however - one Instagram user asked: "Is it April Fool's again??"
