IKEA has revealed shoppers can enjoy a Christmas dinner in store this year.
The retail giant will be hosting a festive feast this December in celebration of Santa Lucia Festival, a Swedish Christmas tradition celebrated on the longest night of the year.
IKEA will be hosting a very special festive event this December 13, with a huge Christmas buffet , reports the Manchester Evening News.
A description on IKEA’s website reads: "Sweden celebrates the tradition of Santa Lucia every year on 13th December with a wonderful spread of delicious festive food – and here at IKEA, we’re no different.
"Join us in store for a Christmas buffet and Santa Lucia candlelit procession and get into the spirit of the festivities."
Those attending the event will be able to feast on a Swedish buffet of foods such as ham, smoked salmon, potatoes, salads, gingerbread - and mulled wine of course.
The event is set to take place at IKEA stores across the country , including Liverpool’s closest store in Warrington.
It’s thought that tickets will go on sale mid-November, so keep an eye on the IKEA website for details.
