Furniture chain Ikea are throwing a special Christmas buffet this year to celebrate a Swedish tradition.
Meatballs will definitely be on the menu at the celebration for Santa Lucia - Saint Lucy - on Friday, December 13.
It's the highlight of the Swedish festive calendar and used to coincide with the longest day of the year.
There will be candlelit processions and traditional songs to mark the occaision.
As well as the store's classic meatballs, you can expect mulled wine, delicious saffron buns, ham, herring and salmon.
Ikea said: "Sweden celebrates the tradition of Santa Lucia every year on 13th December with a wonderful spread of delicious festive food – and here at Ikea, we’re no different.
"Join us in store for a Christmas buffet and Santa Lucia candlelit procession and get into the spirit of the festivities."
Ikea's Edinburgh branch is located at the Straiton retail park to the south of the city.
