IKEA in Bristol will become coronavirus vaccine clinic today

Bristol's branch of IKEA is hosting a walk-in clinic where shoppers can receive their coronavirus jabs.

People will be able to get their first coronavirus vaccine today (Saturday, October 16), or their second if they had their first jab more than eight weeks ago.

Booster vaccines will also be available for those who had their second dose more than six months ago, if they meet the eligibility criteria listed by the NHS.

Healthier Together, a partnership of health authorities covering Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, said the clinic will be offering the Pfizer vaccine to people who aged are 16 and older.

Bristol City Council confirmed details of the walk-in clinic on Twitter this morning, and said it will run between 10am and 6pm.
