Ikea is the latest retailer to be hit by supply chain issues, with at least 1,000 of its product lines currently disrupted.
The Swedish flatpack furniture giant said it is experiencing "low availability in some of our ranges, including mattresses".
The issues are affecting all of its 22 stores around the UK and Ireland.
It comes as UK businesses continue to grapple with a shortfall of between 90,000 and 100,000 lorry drivers.
An Ikea spokesperson said: " Like many retailers, we are experiencing ongoing challenges with our supply chains due to Covid-19 and labour shortages, with transport, raw materials and sourcing all impacted.

"In addition, we are seeing higher customer demand as more people are spending more time at home."
The spokesperson added: "We hope this will reduce as the situation improves in the coming weeks and months.
"Going forward, we’re constantly looking for more opportunities to secure product availability for our customers and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
The shortage of HGV drivers is being caused by a mixture of coronavirus and Brexit, with businesses experiencing issues with their supply chains as a result.
Haulage companies say many European drivers have decided not to return after the Brexit transition was completed.
It's understood this move has been made worse by travel restrictions limiting entry to the UK during the Covid-19 crisis.
There is also a huge backlog in HGV driver tests, again because of the pandemic, meaning it's been harder to get new drivers on the road.
Some workers were also forced to stay home during the height of the "pingdemic".
This week saw Wetherspoon admit that it is running out of beers in some pubs, while Pizza Hut says some of its restaurants aren't serving ice cream right now.
It comes after McDonald's said it had run out of milkshakes and Nando's was forced to temporarily close 50 of its sites due to lack of food stock.
