Iggy Azalea has furiously hit back at critics that accused her of 'blackfishing' in the I Am The Stripclub music video.
The 31-year-old Australian musician came under fire yesterday after some fans suggested that she had darkened her complexion and hair in the new clip.
The music video, that the songstress dropped on Friday, features Iggy with dark brown hair and smokey eye make-up as she performs with a host of dancers.
In response to the accusations, the mum of one firmly hit back at the 'ridiculous and baseless' claims in a string of Twitter posts.
Taking to her social media page on Friday, Iggy defended her use of make-up and revealed she had used the same shade for the last three years.

She wrote: "I'm the same color as I always am, just in a dimly lit room with red lights. 'It's the same makeup from every other part of the video just with a Smokey eye and different wig. Just ignore them, who cares? Let em talk."
Iggy then shared an image of her foundation shade, adding: "I'm not wearing crazy dark makeup at ALL. Everyone in the club scene looks darker, it's a club scene!"
In yet another Twitter response, the rapper explained: "I can't care about something that ridiculous and baseless. I'm wearing a shade 6 in armarni foundation, it's the same shade I've worn for the last 3 years.
"It's the same shade in every music video since sally Walker. Suddenly I wear a black wig in a club scene & its an issue."
The new music video, that Iggy dropped on YouTube features the star in the back of a truck and has so far amassed over 1.4 million views.
However, it didn't take long for some viewers to take to social media and express their frustration about her make-up.

"So Iggy Azalea is essentially in black face in her new video," wrote one viewer.
Another added: "She's been appropriating since Day 1. How anyone still follows her is beyond me."
"Why can't white women just be white?" wrote another alongside several pictures of Iggy taken from the music video.
Another said: "Can someone please tell #IggyAzalea that she's not a person of color?? Stop Blackfishing it's very discriminatory abd vulgar especially in this BLM era !!!"

It is also not the first time that Iggy has been subject to criticism about cultural appropriation.
In 2019, she responded to suggestions that she had built her career hon black appropriation and vowed to continue making the same type of music.
She said: “I’m still going to make the same type of music and still be ridiculous and larger than life. So I can’t be that f***ing sorry about it.”
