The manager also confirmed a hamstring problem for Jefte as he misses out on the squad. Nedim Bajrami is out of contention due to illness.

On Igamane, Ferguson told Rangers TV: "He reported yesterday with an injury. He wasn't fit to travel."

On BBC, he added: "Hamza picked up a knock on Wednesday and still felt it yesterday, so no point in travelling.

"Nedim, feeling a bit under the weather so I'm not going to make people travel if they are not 100 per cent."
