

Iga Swiatek won the French Open on Saturday with a straight-sets victory over America’s Sofia Kenin.
Swiatek, 19, was a 6-4 6-1 winner in the women’s singles final at Roland Garros, where she became the first player from Poland to lift a Grand Slam trophy.
Kenin, champion at this year’s Australian Open, entered the match on the Paris clay with tape around her leg, and the 21-year-old left the court in the second set to receive treatment for an injury. Re-live live updates here:
