The postponement of Nottingham Forest’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Reading on Saturday has caused a fair amount of confusion.
The match was called off on Saturday by referee Geoff Eltringham, after it was deemed that a number of areas of the City Ground pitch were unplayable after heavy rain overnight.
The club have confirmed that the match will be rescheduled in due course, but a date for the rearranged fixture has not yet been confirmed.
Fans have been asking questions about whether they will be issued a refund for their ticket, and whether the ticket will stand for the rearranged match.
But one fan took to Twitter to ask Nottingham City Council a different question relating to Saturday’s postponement.
The Council were asked whether a refund would be possible for their matchday car parking charge, with fans able to pay £5 to park their car in the County Hall car park.
“You can either bring the ticket to the next home match and you can park for free or if you want a £5 refund, you would need to bring the ticket to County Hall and we will refund you,” replied the Council on their Twitter account.
Forest are next in action in the Championship on Saturday, as they travel to Kenilworth Round to face Luton Town.
