Since we’re so smitten, Chris Loves Julia’s Rue lineup makes another appearance, this time in all-over block-printed florals for additional oomph in a higher-visibility space like a living room. It’s an ideal embodiment of the whimsy trend – but did we mention it has a very respectable 4.6-star rating?
We called it earlier, but if you’re after the airy aesthetic of someone who might call Montecito or Manhattan Beach home, this is easily the chicest, slightly surfy pick of the bunch. It reads like an aged beach shirt, or a bird’s-eye vintage photograph, with sand and water blurring together from above.
Scratching our Craven craving a second time, this time not with two powerful, room-anchoring stripes, but fourteen. This one reads country club, cabana – a.k.a. exactly the energy we’d like to see making the rounds this summer. Hand-tufted from wool, it’s an easy way to make a splash in an entryway.
Boy, do we love a good grid. And thanks to its warm, tonal neutral nuance and the unexpected addition of a striped border, we’d even call it a great one. Power-loomed and easy to clean, this is our pick for the dining room (yes, you should put a rug under the table).
Beige is far from boring in this double-bordered accent rug by Jeremiah Brent. The pile has both a light and a dark side (very New York), so the color shifts depending on your vantage point. It’s also low and soft underfoot, making it a fabulously dynamic idea for the bedroom.
Styles, obviously, will differ, but the sensibility across these rug collaborations is consistent: timeless, as is the Loloi way. The Amazon sale helps, but with names like these attached, it’s becoming one of the best places to buy rugs, even for design snobs. (We won’t tell.)
