Can’t say I’ve ever seen this before.
In the opening moments of the second round of an Eternal MMA 49 fight on Friday, Nicole Szepesvary threw a front kick at her opponent, Chelsea Hackett, who caught it. With Szepesvary hopping on one leg, Hacket swept it out from under her. Szepesvary fell to the canvas … and that was it. Fight over.
Szepesvary apparently got knocked out by the impact from her fall. Check this out (via Twitter):
Gives new meaning to “sweep the leg,” doesn’t it? Cobra Kai would be proud.
