If your vacuum doesn't clean like it should, leaving dirt behind and struggling with day-to-day debris, it's time for an upgrade. I say this as a seasoned vacuum tester who knows the frustrations of a weak vacuum all too well.
Luckily, leveling up your floor care doesn't need to be expensive, as the Shark PowerDetect Cordless is currently at its lowest price ever. It's discounted by $150 already, and thanks to SharkNinja Week, you can now enjoy an additional $45 off.
It's only on offer for a limited time, so use code SHARK15 to grab one of the best Shark vacuums that cleans seamlessly between floor types at a steal price.
Why the discounted Shark PowerDetect Cordless is one of our all-time favorites

Simply put, the Shark PowerDetect Cordless is one of the best cordless vacuums we've tested. It seamlessly passes from carpets to hard floors, banishing all dust, dirt, and pet hair in its path.
This is why we rate it so highly. On test, whether it was fine powders, medium debris, large crumbs of food, or pet hair, the cordless Shark had no issues clearing the mess in one or two passes.
It cleans intuitively by sensing what's on your floors. So, if you're vacuuming carpet or a particularly dirty area, the suction will automatically increase. This means no fiddling around with settings, and when you're vacuuming easy surfaces (like when cleaning hardwood floors), the suction will drop to preserve the battery life.
Another stand-out feature is the dual-brushroll floorhead. Unlike the best Dyson vacuums, which have separate attachments that you need to swap when changing floors, you can cover your whole home without this step slowing you down.
The soft roller captures fine dust and common household allergens from hard floors, while the bristled brush is great on carpets and cleaning pet hair without tangling.
It also has a 70-minute runtime – longer than most cordless vacuums – as well as a flexible wand, to reach under furniture without straining your back. It's an exceptionally useful vacuum, and one that I'll always recommend to people looking for an upgrade, especially at this never-before-seen low price.
The Shark PowerDetect Cordless is available for $254.99 at Shark with code SHARK15.

In many ways, the Shark PowerDetect Cordless is modeled off the Dyson V15 Detect, which innovated the vacuum market with floor sensors and flawless suction and continues to be the best in every way. It's the vacuum I use in my own home after testing 28 for Homes & Gardens.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the cleaning gadget that has dramatically reduced how much time I spend on chores. The Dreame H14 Pro vacuums, mops, and removes stains all at once, leaves the floors dry a couple minutes later, then cleans itself at the station. It's honestly amazing.
