GlasGLOW has revealed its eighth of the nine upcoming world experiences: 'If you go down to the woods today...'
World Six will soon be arriving at Glasgow Botanic Gardens alongside eight other worlds - and there's just one left to be announced.
Organisers have teased Glaswegians as to what they can expect for World Eight, with the cryptic message "There's always a surprise after the credits. Dare you discover it?"
A video, which you can view above, simply appears to take us very far down into the woods (although no teddy bears having a picnic to be seen), with what appears to be thousands of fireflies all around.
Yesterday we revealed the upcoming 'World Seven' experience, the seventh of nine worlds being showcased at the event, with 'The Party Palace: D.A.N.C.E.', suggesting it's time for Glaswegians to get their groove on.
The huge sound and light spectacle is set to return to the Botanics bigger and better than ever, after the success of last year's inaugural event.
The event sold out to 75,000 visitors in 2018, transforming the west end park into another world that included dragons, selfies with the moon and dancing fairylights galore. This year, organisers Itison expect 100,000 people through the Botanic Garden gates.
The whole thing is costing £750,000 this year to make it “bigger, better and glowier” - and you’ll find out more about those fantasy worlds in the coming days as itison release trailers for each, so keep watching this space.
Founder Oli Norman said: “Last year we were just warming up! This year’s looking epic and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.
“We’re introducing a majority community element to give back, so with every GLOW we can create a lasting positive impact - more will be revealed soon!”
GlasGLOW will run October 25 - November 3 and earlybird tickets go on sale on August 20 at 7.30am.
