'If we win I'm hailing Sabri Lamouchi a football genius' - Nottingham Forest fans on team news at Millwall

Despite springing a surprise or two in naming Lewis Grabban and Joe Lolley on the bench for Friday night’s game at Millwall, Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi could largely claim the support of supporters for his team selection.

Lamouchi elected to leave Lolley and leading scorer Grabban on the bench at The Den, instead opting to bring in Alfa Semedo and Rafa Mir, who is still searching for his first Forest goal since making a season-long loan move from Wolves.

Elsewhere in the starting XI, Michael Dawson was handed his first start since limping out of the 3-2 win at Stoke in September, his return also seeing him reclaim the captain’s armband from Ben Watson.

A win for Forest in south London, a ground they usually struggle at, would see them go level on points with third-placed Fulham, and could go third should they win by more than two – it would also represent a fifth success on the road, more than they achieved in the whole of last season.
