Jordan Pickford believes it was important the Three Lions did not slip to defeat against Scotland last night.
England lacked a bit going forward and had to rely on the former Sunderland keeper to make a handful of decent saves to keep the Tartan Army at bay.
The 27-year-old said it was important Gareth Southgate's side took a point from the game, if they were unable to score at the other end.

Pickford was pleased with his own personal performance against Scotland, he said: "I thought I had a good performance.
“I made one good save and came and commanded a few crosses. It’s just about being in that moment and helping your teammates out as a goalkeeper. I felt like I did that tonight — and another clean sheet which I’m pleased with.”

England head into the final game needing just a point against Czech Republic to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition, and although their route to the final may be deemed 'easier' if they finish runners-up in the group, Pickford admitted the Three Lions want to top the group.
“It’s a massive game,” the goalkeeper admitted.
“We want to take all three points every game we play — to win the game. The biggest thing tonight was, if we can’t win it, don’t get beaten.
"The resilience of keeping a clean sheet from the lads, that’s what we did.
"We’ve got four points, we’re still in control of the group. We’ve got to get ready for Czech Republic now.”
