'If only' - Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish sends funny FIFA 21 message

If the video game FIFA was around in the days when Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley were in charge of Liverpool, it would surely have been an even more enjoyable experience for fans than it already is.

The popular video game is played by players, as well as fans, and it looks like one club legend has taken notice of a particular update.

Sir Kenny Dalglish will arguably go down in history as one of, if not the greatest player ever to grace the pitch at Anfield.

FIFA was not released until well after his playing days were over, but the game has recently included him as an icon as part of the ‘Ultimate Team’ segment.

Liverpool’s Twitter account posted a tweet to promote Dalglish’s inclusion in the game, showing the former Reds No.7 playing for the club in 1982, followed by a graphic taken from the game.

In response to the tweet from the club, Dalglish responded with a funny remark about his own playing abilities.

Dalglish wrote: “If only I was as good in real life as the stats say I am on FIFA!”

It’s safe to say that, if FIFA was around when Dalglish was playing, he would be one of the top players in the whole game.
