'If Hazard goes we'd be in relegation trouble' - Some Chelsea fans can't believe Cardiff display

It has been a first half to forget for Chelsea at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Blues have struggled to put a string of passes together, or have a meaningful effort at goal, aside from a Pedro curling effort that went onto the roof of Neil Etheridge's net.

It has been a desperately disappointing afternoon in Wales so far, with the Blues desperate for three points to keep pace with Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal ahead of them in the battle for the top four.

There have been far too many misplaced passes from Maurizio Sarri's side against a side threatened with relegation from the Premier League.

Why Chelsea's Eden Hazard, N'Golo Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi are not starting at Cardiff City

Sarri opted for Pedro and Willian either side of Gonzalo Higuain in Wales, with Ross Barkley and Mateo Kovacic in the three in midfield alongside Jorginho.

That has meant N'Golo Kante and Eden Hazard being on the bench, alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

After a first half like that, it should not be too long before Kante and Hazard are chosen to take to the field.

The Chelsea fans on Twitter could not believe what they were watching.
