If Dwayne Haskins is available, Von Miller wants Broncos to draft him

Von Miller has spoken.

The Broncos’ superstar outside linebacker revealed Wednesday that he would like Denver to select Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins in next week’s NFL draft. The Broncos are set to select 10th overall in the first round.

“I like him a lot,” Miller said, via NFL Network’s James Palmer. “If he’s there whenever we pick, my pick is to pick him. But . . . I’m not running the show so whoever we get, I’m okay with. I just want to get the best available and if we do that I’m good with that.”

Haskins responded to Miller’s remarks with an emoji on Twitter:

In addition to Haskins, Miller is also a fan of LSU inside linebacker Devin White and Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams.

“I like all the guys that everybody likes,” Miller said. “I like Devin White, I like Haskins . . . . I [also] like Quinnen Williams. Those are the guys that I can see. Ya know, I play with inside linebackers, great inside linebackers. I play with a great d-tackle and I know quarterbacks, too. So those three guys would have to be my picks.”

The first round of the draft will begin on Thursday, April 25.
