Idyllic picnic festival

The famous Amphawa district of Samut Songkhram is the destination for Day Trip, the first picnic-style boutique festival, which will bring Bangkokians together to enjoy an intimate break from the bustling city at the idyllic Baan Tai Had Resort on Saturday and Sunday.

A collaborative project between Bangkok's leading DJs and party organisers Koish and Superstar Panda, this is a new 360-degree unique concept for the exhausted Bangkok crowd to leave behind their hectic schedules and have fun dancing on the grass, as well as a deep breath of fresh air.

They can choose to relax amid the open-space greenery, take a dip in the pool or just sit by the river and immerse themselves in the sunset.

The first day will feature a range of underdog talents from Thailand and overseas, including local Bangkok heroes DJ Chamapoo, NK Chan, the Transport crew, DJ Bedcheck from Pai, as well as live performances from Selby MG and electro-pop group Cut the Crab. In collaboration with Soundistan, the event will also see talent from Jakarta -- Arrio and Harvy Abdurachman from Double Deer Records.

The last day includes a trip to the famous Amphawa Floating Market to witness local treasure and floating silent disco by Sunset Vibes Boat Parties.
